This annual Christmas Dinner is hosted at FBC on Christmas Day in Fellowship Hall , 12 to 2 pm. We serve a full meal to all who come. The dinner includes turkey, potatoes, veggies, dessert, and drink.
Our target groupare poor people in Red Bank who are lonely and needy. However, we find that people from a variety of circumstances – people in large families, and also so-called affluent people – regularly attend our Christmas Dinner. All are welcome.
When the meal is over, each person is also given a bag of food to take home.
Another aspect of our Christmas Dinner is take-out meals. Scores of people from the immediate area call the Church early in Christmas week to make a reservation so that a hot meal can be delivered to their home on December 25th .
This program involves a lot of work. If you want to help, here are some ways: First, you can help by praying. Second, you can help by giving money, donating food, baking turkeys and pies, serving the meal, and cleaning up the Fellowship Hall when it’s over. It’s a great way to share the Love of Jesus which is the greatest gift of Christmas.
