Deacons at FBC are service-oriented key leaders at FBC. Their specific job is to keep our Church spiritually strong, Christ-centered and Kingdom bound.

Deacons are elected at FBC business meetings. Their nomination is based on the congregation’s view of their spirituality, dedication to Christ and His Kingdom, responsibility in service to the Church and the overall contribution they can make to the Church’s ministry.

Deacons meet once per month on the 2nd Thursday at 7:30 pm. During these meetings, they share concerns with each other and pray together. The discussions center around – among other things – the sponsorship of four outreach events. Last year, these events included the community Christmas Dinner, a booth at Red Bank Craft Day, a concert entitled “Who Is This Man?” , and a prayer seminar dinner/fellowship.
