Tuesday Singers share the Gospel in song!

This is a wonderful Outreach Group which includes about 10 – 15 ladies and men. These people make weekly trips to different Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Residencies, and Adult Daycare Centers. They sing a different program every month. Each program has a specific theme, i.e., “Golden Oldies”, “Irish”, “Christmas”, “Broadway”, “Western”, etc. The Tuesday Singers end the program with a hymn sing.
Throughout the program, residents are encouraged to sing along.

The Tuesday Singers provide meaningful, encouraging, uplifting interaction with the residents in several area Elder - Care facilities. As indicated, several of our songs point the people to Jesus.

Now about the mechanics: The Tuesday Singers meet at 11:45 am for a “bring-your-own-lunch”. The Singers then practice their program before traveling in the Church Van. When extra practice is needed – for example, when the Tuesday Singers start a program with a new theme – the Group meets a little early, at 11:15 am.

Anyone who is free on Tuesday – FBC Members, FBC Attendees or others – is welcome to join us. It is not necessary to have a great voice for two reasons. First, we don’t sing parts; and second, we are out to have fun and to share the Gospel.
